A simple 3-step process to make a difference: we collect your unused bike, fix it up, and donate it to someone who needs it. By giving bikes a second life, you’re helping create smiles and positive change in the community.

The Green Wheel Project began in 2025 following a growing number of bike donations. Since then, we have received, repaired, and donated 18 bikes, each finding a new home and getting back on the road. The project helps keep children happy, active, and moving, while giving unwanted bikes a second life and supporting families within the community.

We follow a clear three-step process to ensure every bike is repaired to a high standard and donated to someone who truly needs it. From start to finish, we keep the process as simple and straightforward as possible, making it easy to donate, refurbish, and pass bikes back into the community where they can make a real difference.

Donate your unwanted bike to give it a second life. We can collect or you can drop it off. Send a photo first, as limited space means we can’t accept all donations.

We repair donated bikes and complete full safety checks before passing them on. If parts are needed, it may take longer, but we aim to donate bikes back into the community quickly.

Once ready, bikes are shared on our website and social media to find a new home. We ensure they go where needed. If you’re looking for a bike, get in touch to see what’s available.
